5 Ideas For The Interested This Week

5 Ideas For The Interested This Week

That thing that seems like such a huge deal right now?

Someday soon it won’t.

Now, on to this week’s ideas…

1. How To Make Your To-Do List Less Overwhelming

“The infinite nature of your To-Do list makes it as likely to remind you of what you failed to do as it is what you did.”

To-Do lists have a fatal flaw — they never end.

In this post I explain how to make your To-Do list less overwhelming by incorporating an “Enough List” — designed to reflect the bare minimum tasks you need to do on a particular day to feel it was productive.

2. How To Price Your Information Product

“If you’re new to this you’re probably inclined to charge too little, so finding a number you’re comfortable with and then doubling it is a good way to get over that hump.”

Pricing is tricky — especially when it comes to information products.

In a 10-minute video, Nat Eliason breaks down how to price your information product including how to avoid charging too little, frame your price, and decide if you should optimize for influence or revenue.

3. How To Write Like A Legendary Blogger

“These tools aren’t only for essays: they work in any setting, suit every medium, and can be communicated through all languages.”

Venture capitalist Paul Graham has written one of the world’s most influential blogs for decades and you can learn a ton from him about how to write anything.

Ahmed Soliman analyzed his writing style and compiled a list of writing lessons learned from Paul Graham including how to label concepts, use unexpected comparisons, and provide a manual.

4. How To Create An Online Challenge In Seven Steps

“The goal of your challenge is to take cold audiences and turn them into highly-engaged customers.”

Online challenges can be a powerful tool to grow your audience or business in any niche.

Eva Gutierrez explains how to create an online challenge in seven steps including how to figure out why you’re running a challenge, how long your challenge should run, and whether to run a free or paid challenge.

My Final Words Of The Week

Ads in newsletters are a great way to promote your creations.

That’s why I offer them in my newsletter and why people keep buying them (every issue has sold out since I launched them last August!).

This breakdown of an advertiser’s recent experiment with newsletter ads vs. Facebook ads is an interesting look at what drives better results — at least what did for him.

Have a great week!
