5 Ideas For The Interested This Week

It took years for me to get comfortable sharing stuff online.

Even when I published blog posts, I rarely shared them on my own social media accounts because I didn’t feel comfortable doing so.

That’s OK.

This whole creator thing is a process and it takes time.

Stick with it and you’ll get there eventually.

Now, on to this week’s ideas…

My Final Words Of The Week

When Cypress Hill was looking for its first record deal, they met with Def Jam Records.

In the meeting, execs asked them about their brand. What was their persona?

Were they a storyteller like Slick Rick, a ladies man like LL Cool J, or street guys like Run DMC?

The group had never even considered the importance of branding.

After the meeting, they gave that conversation some thought and came up with a simple answer:

“We’re the Cheech & Chong of hip hop.”

They certainly are.

Thanks for your interest!
