What Do You Want To Be Thankful For NEXT Year? - For The Interested

What Do You Want To Be Thankful For NEXT Year?

You don’t need me to tell you to take a moment on Thanksgiving to be thankful for what you have.

You already know gratitude is important.

But it’s also important to recognize the things you’re grateful for didn’t just magically happen — you earned them.

Happiness is earned.

Luck isn’t random.

The love and support of family, friends, and colleagues exists in part because you reciprocate it.

The things you have to be thankful for are a direct result to the commitment you made to pursue them.

So take a moment this year to ask yourself another question.

One that unlocks what matters most to you, helps you identify areas where your life has gone astray, and focus your efforts.

Ask yourself this:

What do you want to be thankful for NEXT Thanksgiving and what will it take over the next 365 days to earn it?

What would it take to have a career you’re more thankful for?

How could you surround yourself with more people who treat you in ways worthy of your appreciation?

What might happen if you acted on your intention? If you trusted your instincts? Took a risk?

Who might you become? Where might it take you? What might you accomplish?

And if you committed to explore these questions in the coming year, what else might you have to be thankful for at next year’s Thanksgiving table?

There’s only one way to find out.

I hope you will.

Have a happy Thanksgiving…and an even happier one next year!
