I spent the last two weeks serving on a jury with 11 people I had never met before.
People who were nothing like me – or each other.
Old, young, men, women, educated, uneducated, rich, poor, etc.
But you know what they all had in common?
They were decent people who cared about justice and wanted to work together to do what’s right.
It’s a reminder the vast majority of people in the world are good.
And nowhere near as divided as things often make it seem.
