4. Your Open Rates Are Wrong (But Still Useful)
An eye-opening (no pun intended) look at what your email stats actually mean and how to improve them.

What I listened to last month…
My journey started with a nostalgic trip down pop punk lane including the catchiest song you’ll ever see Matt Damon lip synch.
That evolved into a few songs from David Kushner, whose new album somehow has echoes of “Life on Mars”-era David Bowie.
Then, seeing the movie A Complete Unknown sent me down a Bob Dylan rabbit hole which took an unexpected turn into a Rage Against The Machine cover of a classic Dylan song.
I regrouped with some disco ladies and pop reggae covers only to eventually wind down with the theme song from a new series by the creator of Peaky Blinders before sticking the landing with a new song from a bunch of old rappers from the Native Tongues posse.
Listen to it all on my Josh’s Jukebox: February 2025 playlist.
Do you use LinkedIn?
If so, let’s connect.
Send me a connection request here with a note saying you’re a reader of my newsletter and I’ll be happy to connect with you.
Plus, you’ll get to see the strategies I share on LinkedIn that I don’t share in this newsletter.
Have an interesting week!
